​My academic background spans Unmanned Aerial Systems Operations, Geographic Information Systems and Film Studies. The principles of film form guide me on land, at sea and in the air. Piloting small craft in remote locations allows me to capture ephemeral moments. My clients include Columbia Sportswear, Luster Studios, TV Tokyo, Sports Illustrated, Rabbit Foot Studios, Wahoo Films and YETI. ​I'm a proud member of the USA kayak team with over 100 Class III+ river descents. My offshore sailing experience includes crew and captain positions on single mast sloops, trimarans and racing dinghies in the Caribbean Sea and Hawaii. ​I'm a private pilot with type ratings in four sailplanes. Creating beautiful images and telling stories through adventure sport started my path into filmmaking, and continues to inspire me.
